Project Details

The original landscape garden of this residential property was tired and outdated requiring vision to bring it back to life through a garden redesign.

The proposed design by RICH Landscapes reutilised some of the existing site elements including the masonary block walls, scoria rock beds and decked areas, to fit appropriately into the new landscape design while reducing costs for the client.   This challenging site also provided opportunities that were explored to create a new seating area with extended views over the dwelling and a raised vegetable garden with composting and worm bin adjacent.

The elevated outdoor dining area helped cover a under used sunken garden off the end of the existing deck while creating a stage for family gatherings with surrounding perimeter seating for larger gatherings.

"The facility was elongated due to the characteristics of the site. The Skate Path was a great idea that allows for a 120m long flow line with a diverse range of obstacles."
