There is steady progress being made at the Tawa Skatepark Redevelopment designed by RICH Landscapes and currently being rebuilt by Angus McMillan Concrete.
The perimeter walls of the facility have been installed with a vertical shutterboard finish and the quarterpipes and roll-ins have also been taking shape over the compacted backfill. The Lockwood Ledge has also been formed that works with various banks on the North-Western Side of the facility.
Set to open in the near future this will be another great amenity for users in the Wellington Region.
You can check out the original design here or other projects currently underway in our Blog.
"The Mangakino Skate Facility integrates harmoniously with an existing public square and consists of a range of miniramps and innovative ramp features including the 'shark tooth'."
