Project Details

The Hooten Reserve Clover Bowl in Albany underwent a face lift with the addition of a street styled skate path and peanut bowl positioned adjacent the existing skate bowl. A variety of unique and innovative skate obstacles and step formations were implemented across the skatepark providing a diverse range of stimulus while enticing long flowing lines throughout the environment. Brick textures and rocks were used in strategic locations and coloured concrete lifted the aesthetics of the skatepark effectively. Set amongst native planting and adjacent a playground and basketball court this skatepark extension helped revive the Hooten Reserve play area, transforming it into a destination for everyone.

"The facility was elongated due to the characteristics of the site. The Skate Path was a great idea that allows for a 120m long flow line with a diverse range of obstacles."
