The design of the Feilding Skatepark went through a vigorous consultation process with the local user group to establish what they would like to see at the new skatepark, located close to the centre of town and adjacent Amenities (Makino Aquatic Centre, Playground and Lions Mini Golf). The final design includes a flow bowl with bowled miniramp, a corner transitioned bank wall and waterfall to deep end. This platform provides levels to access a stair set with Hubbas and Handrail that leads into the main street flow area with a number of obstacles including Rails, Ledges, Wollies and a Skate Kerb with stepped heights. Textures consistent with the adjacent redevelopment of the streetscape blend into the facility with colours linking to the Mini Putt complex next door.
