With diamond grind coping The Wellsford Skatepark Extension is part of a development including a new basketball court and playground extension. The design looked at utilising the existing skate bowl shape, resurfacing it with a new concrete slab and skate features including a skate kerb and hipped quarterpipe to vert. Outside of the bowl area the skatepark has a general street skate styled environment with turnaround quarterpipe and hipped bank at either end with an integrated basketball court and access pathway adjacent.
