Works are underway on the Shadbolt Skatepark Extension designed by RICH Landscapes and being constructed by Contrax, builders of Albany and Orewa Skateparks. Construction includes a hipped miniramp environment being built at the base of the existing facility with a couple ledge elements within the existing footprint. The entry path that ponds over Winter will also be replaced. The facility is aimed to be completed before the Christmas holidays.
