The Mangawhai Activity Zone received some sizeable funding recently to complete further stages of the Skatepark Development including the beginner and open space area, street features, stair setups with hubbas ands ledges and turnaround quarterpipes with concrete and pool coping in the upper areas of the existing skatepark. Unfortunately the flow bowl could not be built this round along with the street competition area that is still under design development.
